There are many types of interlocking pavers available in Ontario, Canada, each with its own unique characteristics and benefits. Some of the most popular types of interlocking pavers include:

  1. Natural stone pavers: These pavers are made from natural stone, such as granite, limestone, or sandstone. They offer a unique, natural look and are extremely durable, you will find them to be cost-effective investment that better withstands the course of time. Natural stone pavers require less maintenance than Concrete, as well as less need for repairs to cracks or intensive cleaning commitments.
  1. Brick pavers: These pavers have an ability to withstand an extremely high level of loading and are suited to many different types of landscaping applications. They are used in building walkways and patios everywhere from on humble suburban properties to grand country estates. Brick pavers will last longer than poured concrete and hold their color better than decorated concrete. Cost-wise long term, low maintenance, brick pavers is the best choice.
  1. Resin pavers: Resin-bound paving is a mixture of aggregate stones and resin used to pave footpaths, driveways, etc. It is a kind of permeable paving solution. It is a flexible surfacing material, so is resistant to cracking. It can reduce the risk of pooling water, which leads to lesser floods in your driveway. The high porosity of resin-bound surfacing also lessens the damaging action of freezer cycles.
  1. Concrete pavers: Concrete pavers are versatile because they come in many different styles and colors. By mixing and matching colors and shapes, you can create a one-of-a-kind patio, walkway or driveway. While it’s possible to set the pavers in mortar or concrete, many are set on a bed of compacted gravel and sand. Concrete pavers cost even less than comparable pavers made of sandstone, granite or clay, and are more durable, especially when used in driveways. Concrete pavers will not crack. Weather changes, soil shifting, and seismic movement can all cause expansion and contraction. Concrete pavers will move with this expansion and contraction, and will not crack.
  1. Stamped Concrete: Stamped concrete is concrete that has been imprinted, or that is patterned, textured, or embossed to resemble brick, slate, flagstone, stone, tile, wood, or various other patterns and textures. The practice of stamping concrete for various purposes began with the ancient Romans.
